Can anyone recommend a style of work shoe for me please?

I want something that isn't flat but has only a little bit of height, as I need to be able to walk fast in them and for them to be comfortable. I'd like them to go with trousers and skirts/dresses, until it is boot season. They have to suit a large feet and not make them look larger. I'm not very adventurous or stylish when it comes to shoes, I'm more a boots or sandals kind of woman, but I do really need shoes right now.

I don't know how you feel about cheap shoes (needs must for me at the moment unfortunately), but I got these for work a few months ago, and honestly they are the comfiest shoes I have ever worn, I don't even notice the heel. They are all padded inside so it feels like putting on a pair of slippers! They are still looking like new as well, so I think they would see you through until boot time!

Maybe a bit mumsy, but hey I like comfort these days! I like the black patent wedge by Clarks called Flake Berry , sorry I don't know how to do a link! They (to old me) are smart and not flat but comfortable and look ok with skirts and trousers. I'm more a boots girl myself too!

Wedge court shoes are everywhere this season. Try NEXT.
