Saw a lovely deep purple duffle coat in John Lewis today. What do we think, are they just for small school girls?

I have a duffle coat. I got it from Miss Selfridges last year and will be wearing it again this winter.

I'm 28 29 in a few days if that helps.

Yay! I do live a toggle

I'm nearly 27, and own a lovely blue checked number from dotty p's and in a sale and all, bonus!

TurquoiseGoldandOrangecat · 11/09/2012 15:02

God. Love a toggle want to know how to live one though, have intrigued myself!

Lottapianos · 11/09/2012 15:04

I say yay! I want this one

noddyholder · 11/09/2012 15:06

Only if tallish and slim tbh otherwise they look mumsy. My ds wears one and looks cool in it but he is 18 with a fit body. Look terrible with boobs.I do love them though on teh right person

iseenodust · 11/09/2012 15:06

Nay, thrice nay. Unless accessorised with wellies.

WiseKneeHair · 11/09/2012 15:07

Is it the Four seasons one? I had seen that online and fancied buying it when I've saved up, so maybe by next spring
I didn't think it looked schoolchild/ trainspotter like, but a more chic grown up duffle. Grin

noddyholder · 11/09/2012 15:07

The one in the link is not really what I consider a duffle so it may look ok

TapselteerieO · 11/09/2012 15:14

I like the uniqlo one, they are casual wear as opposed to childrens wear, and so I think they are fine for that, autumnal country walks style dressing.

PretzelTime · 11/09/2012 15:38

The Uniqlo one is cute. I say yay.
What does a real duffle look like noddyholder?

RobinSparkles · 11/09/2012 15:49

I'm slim but not tall Sad.

I hope I don't look mumsy. A few people have complimented it so I assume it looks ok.

I don't wear it with Wellies.

Dawndonna · 11/09/2012 16:32

I have a black mulberry duffle. It's warm and lovely and snuggly and I don't care what I look like, I luffs it!

noddyholder · 11/09/2012 16:49

I suppose I am thinking of a traditional one the uniqlo one is a lot more forgiving as it has a bit of shape to it. I meanthese

DonaAna · 11/09/2012 16:55

Yay if you can do slightly preppy style.

shoppingbagsundereyes · 11/09/2012 17:02

It is the four seasons one! Was too lazy to link :)

Then that is the one I really, really want, too!
I think even noddyholder may approve.
I'll even link it for you Grin
