Wedding shoes for dodgy feet

I desperately want to just wear trainers for my wedding but a few people have turned their noses up at my idea. I have rather dodgy feet and I'm 6ft so don't need the height even if I could wear heels. So I'm looking for flats/low heel which have to have a way of keeping them on (strap/laces). I can't wear ballet pumps as my foot can't hold them on. Preferably white/cream/silver. Budget as high as it needs to be to find something suitable. Any ideas?

Thanks for replying. I've been off work today and spent the whole day looking for something suitable. I've just spent £310 on a pair of miu miu glittery trainers! I plan on just keeping it a secret from all the judgy people - DP thinks they are awesome.

They sound fab but if you change your mind about the trainers, I had some fantastic boots made for my very dodgy feet and he adjusted the heel as I am taller than DH but I wanted a small heel as cannot dance in flats. From memory they were about £100. I measured at home and then emailed the details through and he made a trial pair. We then discussed how they needed to be adapted over the phone and the final pair fit like a dream. The website is elegant-wedding-shoes.co.uk Highly recommended.

I don't want to link as I'm super paranoid about anyone finding them and realising it's me! But they are the only gold glittery trainers by Miu Miu on net a porter.

I don't know how to do it on my ipad! if you go to that website you will see what they offer but mine were bespoke so won't be on there anyhow.
