Where to buy MBTs online?

These are hard to get hold of now and I found some in a local shop in the sale for£75 but wrong size. So I now know what size I am but can't find what I want below £150 ish and am wary of fakes.

Anyone bought them recently?

I thought they had gone under? My only advice as the owner of an expensive and unused pair is to make sure you are convinced you have right size as they are notoriously easy to get wrong size and blisters are very common in nearly everyone I know who got them.. would not mind if they had slimmed me down as I had hoped but instead they crippled me!!

IwanttoflyonA380 · 10/09/2012 16:48

I used to ware mbts, I have arthritis and they mean I can walk pain free
I had a few problems with quality I had a pair only last 12weeks (I can't walk that far they normally last about a year). They were replaced but they did the same. They sucked water into the sole. I have now switched to fitflops. Which seam good.

Thanks, I tried a six and a seven and came to the conclusion I am a 6.5. Bit worrying about the quality issue though. And comfort as they are meant to help!

zzmum they have in this country I THINK but there is still a UK online shop. Stockists local to me said they had stopped selling them now as they weren't selling which does make me wonder but then reviews seem to say that they work more than other brands.

I want them to try and help my dreadful posture and help prevent the back pain I get with any exercise, do the fit flops do the same job would you say?

I have also switched from mbt to Fitflops, due to price, quality and ugliness. I wear Fitflop speakers, they do a similar job to mbt, but less intensely - sort of mbt 'lite'.

used2bthin · 10/09/2012 19:27

thanks I will have a look, did you get them online or in a shop? I sort of want intense but then would regret it I guess if they hurt me! They felt very odd when I tried them on.

I havae skechers shape-ups which are fantastic, do the job and are also super comfortable, would definitely recommend.

Sunnytimescoming · 10/09/2012 20:28

Have a look on Secretsales Outlet. They definitely had them last month

Yogagirl17 · 10/09/2012 20:30

Try Achillesheel

BikeRunSki · 10/09/2012 21:53

I get my Fitflops online.

BikeRunSki · 10/09/2012 21:57

There's Alegria too, if you want something less sporty.

ohmeohmy · 10/09/2012 22:13

Wardwalkers website good for this sort of thing with good discounts for end of season I have some red patent alegria shoes that I always get admiring comments for.

used2bthin · 10/09/2012 22:23

thanks just had a look at all of those and now can't decide between mbts, sketchers or fit flop sneakers!

Then can't decide between mbt shoes or trainers if I went for the mbts on acilles heel which are a very good price.

Honestly I wish I could just make a decision it always takes me ages! the alegrias are good too.

Never had MBTs but own both FitFlop boots and Skechers shape-up trainers both of which I love and have lasted ages!

used2bthin · 12/09/2012 14:05

Argh still not found what I want! Triedd fit flop trainers on today and they were really wide. Are they all like that?

Oh and found what I wanted if was getting mbts on achilles heel then when I went to buy they were wide fit so probably too wide for me. No others in my size ecept the shoes and I probably should get the trainers really, the shoes have reduced instability.
