Anyone tried these? Are they the same sort of thing? I quite fancy doing one as I am fed up with wearing black.

I've never done one officially so I don't know.

Perhaps we should do a MN colour me beautiful thread. I'm sure there's enough experience out there for us all to know which colours work with which hair / skin combination eh?

I am freckly, blue eyed, red haired. I have ALWAYS just kind of been drawn to autumnal colours, because they always seem to compliment my colouring. In fact I kind of blanche and panic when I see pastel colours and white being predominant in summer for instance, cause I KNOW these colours look rubbish on me. I avoid Fushia pinks and vibrant reds (pink based) too, cause they clash with my hair!

I lurve orange, and brown is my black. I have ADORED the teal colour this winter, and hope it continues for another couple of seasons for sure!

good idea Catbert. I shall google up some colour advice for you. I think you will be quite easy because of your red hair.

I cant remember my real hair colour Blush - think it is mid brown with coppery tones but it might be dark brown. It's been so long ..... I have fair skin and hazel eyes, not many freckles. I always wear black since reading it was slimming but am really fed up. I am drawn to faded blue, browny colours, deep burgundy reds.
