Does anyone else ever list an Ebay item and write such a good description that they keep it?!

Confused

Because that's what I've just done.

I am officially a do-nut! Or maybe just very indecisive...

You'll never get rich doing that!! Grin

yes! I listed a bag last week never used still had labels on etc, it looked so nice in the pictures that I was very relieved nobody parted with the £100 for it, despite me paying 3 times that for it.
Have a few items currently listed that feel similar about.
Am extremely indecisive as well as have far too much stuff.

Exactly Babylon - I'd make a rubbish business person. Grin

Ruby - I think we have to focus on why we decided to list in the first place. Even if it looks - and is - good, there must be a reason why the items have gone unworn / unloved etc. But I did smile when I actually 'sold' such an item to myself!

Me! I had bought myself anew pair of converse and decided I ought to sell old pair. Put them in the wash, sorted out laces... Mmmm think the white look classic and really nice actually,,.think I want white ones now..mmmm. So I had already listed em for 99p, so the only thing I could do was to add £100 pound to the total asking price! Never sold them and have worn them more this summer than new pair!

I know, have just relisted it again will put it on one more time and if doesn't sell then keep it.

Sleepwhenidie · 09/09/2012 18:39

Ok Ruby, tell us about the bag so I can go look at it Smile

ruby22 · 09/09/2012 20:03

Sleepwhenidie I don't think I can as its blatant advertising, sadly as may shift more of my 'spare bed ebay mountain' as dh calls it that way!

Sleepwhenidie · 09/09/2012 20:28

Sad...you could pm me a link maybe (or do you secretly want to keep it Hmm?)

BabylonPI · 10/09/2012 22:59

There is an eBay thread where posters are linking to there own items, doesn't seem to be a problem there.

I usually get jealous if a bidding war starts, like errrr well I want to keep it now that everyone likes it! Blush
