It's further than I thought it was. Will just ask DP as he was the one driving.

shineygoldpenny · 09/09/2012 11:08

It is in Shepton Mallet. It is less than 30 miles from the motorway, but the roads in Somerset are poor, which means it will take you at least an hour to drive it - longer if you get stuck behind an HGV or a tractor.

tutu100 · 09/09/2012 11:10

It'll be about 45 mins. We drovw from Bridgewater to Shepton Mallet (not for the Mulberry Factory as I can't afford them!) but I did see the factory outlet.

SpanglyGiraffe · 09/09/2012 11:13

I would allow an hour from the motorway. I didn't realise there was a Mulberry shop there!

Itsgottabebags · 09/09/2012 11:44

I think that that they also have a coffee shop!

LadyEmmaHamilton · 09/09/2012 18:33

I have been several times. It's quite small and they have more of the classics than the high fashion stuff. If you're after something in particular, it's worth phoning ahead and they may well put it aside for you.

The prices are two-thirds of retail and I have not been able to spot what made the bags I bought "seconds".

LeChatRouge · 09/09/2012 20:13

Just to add to the above, there is a place called [[http://www.kilvercourt.com/ Kilver Court right next to the Mulberry shop which has other shops like Toast at discount prices. I would time it over Lunch as they have a nice cafe and deli too.

LeChatRouge · 09/09/2012 20:14

Kilver Court

sleepdodger · 09/09/2012 23:57

Thanks all- any veterans able to give example prices and the. What their seconds prices are- I would lie Togo and peruse but feel like it needs to be a serious buy mission to convince dh- and in turn it therefore needs to be a good price Grin
I have a bayswater but paid cost about 4.5 years ago so I have a lucky but somewhat skewed vision of value Grin
Thanks all

I got a bays water there for £250. They normally sell in the £750 mark. Nothing wrong with it that I can tell...

sleepdodger · 10/09/2012 06:50

Ooh v good- that's less than the trade price I got Envy
Detour it is then....
