How does the colour take? Does it fade? What about roots showing? Any tips?? I want that blue black hair like this but i am a scaredy cat so would go to a salon not do my own...

I've done that colour quite a few times.
I'd recommend the Feria one though. I find that the Live colours fade/wash out very quick. Even when they claim to be permenant!

The blue hint does fade quite quick but the black keeps well.

I may have to do mine again.Grin

Only people in books.

Hair like a raven's wing.

I have done my hair like this and be warned - I am v dark brown naturally (so not a million miles away), but the blue/black colour looked so beyond awful I properly cried. It made me look phenomenally ill, fat and spotty. If you have any sort of warm tone in your skin it will probably do something similar.

My natural hair is dark brown and grey I wonder how to tell if it would suit me? I know I don't like red tones in my hair - when i get it done brown I get the choice without warm tones through. It has looked fine blondish before...I need to go and try on a wig first don't I!

I did before I went grey, but it was natural (now dye it dark brown, I think it is kinder to my skin).

Mine is blue/black and silver. Can't dye it as allergic. Am thinking of trying lush henna.
