What shape of skirt is going to be in this Autumn?

I'm a fan of A line, above knee skirts with opaques and boots for Autumn. However, some years they're impossible to find as they're just not fashionable.

So, I'm wondering what kind of skirts are going to be around this autumn so I can look for some alternatives. Or, hoepfully you will answer my prayers and say that A line is back!

I am a bit appley with no hips but long, slim legs, so an A line mine or something similarly unfussy generally works well.

thanks!

Still looking a bit pencilly

Pencil skirts still in as are longer A line skirts.

Thanks both.

Don't suppose you'd know where I could get something decent in the £20-£30 price bracket do you?

I like the short skater skirts too if you have the body! I am similar shape to you and prefer dresses

Thanks noddy. Think I'm prob too old for skater skirts :(

If you've got the legs then above the knee is fine at any age.

I was reading a maxi pencil skirt, the sort you wiggle in

onebigwish · 05/09/2012 18:50

Thanks mrslettuce. I do normally wear above the knee. But I find the skater skirts a bit flippy and prone to flying up.

thanks happier. I can't really do traditional pencil skirts so I think maxi may be disastrous - I carry weight around my tummy so like something that doesn't cling there. A line balances me out and skims, but pencil skirts cling to my tummy and don't balance me out either :(
