I keep seeing stylish women wearing these, i've only ever come across baggy ones in the shops, some of them are cropped and some look like they have been rolled up, i admit all the women are very slim and i am a size 14 sometimes a 12 but i can't keep wearing jeans and today i wore the dreaded linen trousers because its soo hot. skirts/dresses are not my thing but i think i could pull off this look if only i can find a pair or slim trousers .

I might have to ruin someones day by asking them in real life and they would probably be insulted by a frump like me asking. please help.

How about skinny cords fromGap? They have some cropped skinnies on sale too I think? Is that the kind of thing you're looking for?

Sounds like you are a similar size to me. I bought mine from Jasper Conran in Debenhams and they are a very flattering alternative to Linen trousers. I got some in blue and beige.

I've had a lot of mine from River Island of all places. These are nice too www.zara.com/webapp/wcs/stores/servlet/product/uk/en/zara-W2012/269187/827408/TROUSERS%20WITH%20STUDDED%20WAISTBAND
