Where to buy a bikini now it isn't the right season anymore?

I need a new bikini but a trawl around the shopping centre today proved fruitless. Where can you buy a bikini out of season? Is it just whatever shops have left online?

I'm after a halterneck bikini with decent straps, not a little string thing IYKWIM?

I got a lovely 50's style halter neck bikini (with proper bottoms) from M&S fairly recently - might be worth a look online?

Maraki · 02/09/2012 22:35

Figleaves or ebay

BellaVita · 02/09/2012 22:37

here you go - Simply Beach

I bought three bikinis from here back in July, arrived quickly, only had to send one back, free returns too.

Loads to choose from.

BellaVita · 02/09/2012 22:40

I am not a lover of bits of string either!

Itsgottabebags · 02/09/2012 22:41

Tk maxx.

ItsAllGoingToBeFine · 02/09/2012 22:42

BraStop seem to have loads

porcamiseria · 02/09/2012 22:50

figleaves.com are brill

IKeepGettingOlder · 02/09/2012 22:54

Thanks for the suggestions, I will check those sites out. I am normally a fan of ebay but not sure what size I need so daren't risk getting something the wrong size.

Simply beach with free returns sounds perfect, could order 2 sizes and return one.

ASOS had some lovely ones in the sale.

Startailoforangeandgold · 02/09/2012 23:13

Surfdome, tick the no info box if you order they seen junk emails by the hundred.

Delivered a gillet for DD2 in time for Christmas that no one else had and have been driving me potty ever since.

I got one recently from next and I'm quite impressed with the quality.

Saskia35 · 03/09/2012 11:12

Just reporting back, I've bought this one from Next because they will be able to deliver before I go away. Just hoping I don't look like a sack of potatoes in it!

Just got a Miss Mandalay one, The green spotty one, from bravissimo. Luckily I know the rough size so bought two tops and sent one back. then got the bottoms off eBay, new.

this one it is not as big looking in the cup and is really flattering.

I wouldn't have gone for that colour normally, but miss Mandalay bikinis are very well made and the wires don't dig in like others I've had. I also really wanted an underwired halterneck, and this is the only one I could find in my size.

It takes some organising, going on holiday late in the season.

IKeepGettingOlder · 03/09/2012 21:06

It does take some organising! Ours is a last minute thing, had I known we were going I would have bought during the right season. Can't really complain though, bit weird to be shopping for my winter boots and a bikini in the same week though Hmm
