Which tights are truely sheer yet strong and don't look "support"?

I am looking for a really nice pair of "nude" tights. Basically a pair that you really can't see when they are on.

I have tried all sorts and they all make my chubby shapely legs look "sausagey". I mean that they all look like old ladies tights, too shiney, too thick, too matt etc etc.

I see girls with tights that you can really hardly tell until close up that they are wearing any.

I don't mind shelling out (within reason!) I'm going to a posh party and I've got a nice coast dress to wear but I'm not quite brave enough for bare legs!

Any suggestions? I am fairly pale, size 10-12, but short and rather pear shaped!

Thank you!

You might want to try these.

Try M&S Bare Cooling tights. Around a fiver and fairly resilient. Falke Shelina are good too, but are about £8/9 (though I have got them cheaper in TK Maxx)

Thank you all. The John Lewis ones look great. I actually hovered over a pair of Falke Shelina the other day too so I might try those as well Smile
