Accessories for a red dress

I have a lovely dress this one for a very smart lunch in late October - it's a 50th wedding anniversary in a marquee, and the couple in question are impossibly glamorous, as are most of their friends. I don't want to let the side down, but although the dress is sorted, I don't know what I should be doing in terms of accessories. I was thinking black opaques and black heels like the model, but what are the alternatives? The advantage of black is I have black shoes and a black bag, so would only need to sort out something warm for my top half. On the other hand, I don't know if black is a bit dull...so what does one wear with bright red in order to look vaguely elegant?

I wouldn't go too matchy-matchy. I like red and....
Chocolate brown
Tan
Silver
Blue
Purple
Turquoise
Grey

black, white and red are a good combo.
