Is stretched wrinkly skin repairable,?

I think it does subside over time

Mine recovered pretty much entirely. Stretch marks are visible (silvery) but I have only the teensiest bit of wrinkly tummy right on my bikini line, and no 'pouch' after 1 natural delivery and 1 CS. Good diet and good moisturising helps Smile

What do you include in your diets?

Breast feed
Eat well
Sleep as much as possible
When you feel ready (I'd say the 6 month mark to feel yourself again) start exercising.
Stomach and ab exercises
Moisturise with a rich cream

Eight and four years on and mine is still pretty fucked, sorry. I think it depends on how bad the damage is.

I am very tall (5'10") size 12, much exercise, don't smoke, drink, eat wheat or sugar, don't have any caffeine, basically very healthy diet.

I don't even think the genetic thing is stricly true, my mum didn't get a single stretchmark and at 63 her stomach is lovely compared to the war zone that mine resembles.

its very bizarre isnt it. I didnt get any wth my first girl (22m ago) and I did with my dd (15weeks) literally in the last few weeks. I thought the genetics played part as my mum did get some, but I truly think its down to the space between your pregnancies, how big the baby is in comparison to your frame (im tall but thin), pushing throughout labour causes lots too the physio told me.

I read that refined sugars break down your skins layers and hinders repairing. (from e lack of collagen etc )

I moisturise lots, could do more of my tum exercises tbh. dont smoke, dont drink.

DD is a year old and mine is still pretty bad, despite losing a lot of weight, moisturising religiously and praying nightly!! Ok, not the last bit.

I hate it :(
