Seen some nice things in the catalogue that came through the door the other day, never bought from them before though, just wondering if anyone knows how generous (or mean) they are with their sizing. TIA Smile

For yourself or the children?

Tatties · 15/03/2006 09:53

Sorry Blush for ds, slightly-bigger-than-average nearly-1-year-old!

Hmmm
I would go the next size up for his age then tbh.

I got dd a pack of tops when she was 2. I got her age 2 and they were a bit tight.

Tatties · 15/03/2006 10:19

So would you go for 18mths or 2yrs?

Is that the sizes available?

I think there is a size chart somewhere on the site. Can you mesure your ds just to make sure.

I would be tempted to go with 2yr but if you can check first...

Yep I reckon 2yrs is probably best then, thanks Nbg Smile

I think the actual design of som eof the clothes, especially girls tshirts is quite fitted/tight. Do have some nice different things though.

I find that most French clothing comes up quite small, I tend to buy a size bigger than UK sizes for ds. Scandinavian sizes come up huge though, ds didn't grow into his H&M (9-12 months) outift until he was 17 months.

DD is a small 22 month old. She is currently in 12-18 clothes. I bought her \link{http://www2.vertbaudet.co.uk/cgi-bin/Vertbaudet.storefront/44182d7200131e72276d0a0b002f05ca/Product/View/3550442\this} for the summer in age 2 and the tunic only just fastens around her tum. Grin

Definitely go by the height rather than the age. DD has a dress that says 2/3, but it also says 86cm which equates to 18/24 in UK sizes. I find if I choose sizes that way the clothes fit fine.
