What to wear to wedding- evening do?

Any links would be very gratefully received! i am a size 24 which makes it harder. i'm 34, and looking forward for chance to dress up a bit! invite is very formal and wedding evening reception is held at quite posh hotel. Also haven't got lots of money either, am looking on ebay but hard to choose!

TBH it'd be handy to know your shape, height and colouring, oh and what your budget is for the whole shebang. Have you got any shoes or accessories hanging about that you could / would like to use?

Navy, very sweet
red or black very glam, flattering and has wee sleeves.

Not sure what sort of length you like though, but then both models are 5'11" which is enough to make most things look very short...

More than happy to have a dig about for a few more dresses but we need and idea of budget, don't want to be sticking stuff unfair temptations under your nose TBH accessories are at least as important as the dress is handy to consder how you like to style stuff IYSWIM.

Budget is as little as possible! Have got patent emerald green slingbacks. i'm so out of touch, haven't worn earrings for months! I like accessorize type jewellery. never have confidence to wear bold jewellery. Will have a look at jewellery box again.
