some questions for larger ladies

do you wear skinny jeans or legging?

I love them and really want to wear them, but what do you team them with?

I cant seem to find any 'naice' tops to wear with them. I need inspiration.

BTW I'm a size 18 apple shape.

Also while i'm here are ugg boots out?

You always go for a mix of the two and try a pair of M&S jeggings- soooo comfy. And I am planning on wearing them with my uggs this winter regardless of whether they are in or out :)

Yes I wear both - I'm a size 14 apple with a 32H bust. I wear high-waisted skinny jeans from Next - fantastic for holding you in and very comfy. I usually wear my leggings with dresses - mid-thigh to knee length dresses.

Ugg boots - never mind if they are in or out, wear them if you like them! That's the first rule of dressing, particularly if you're a difficult shape - wear what suits you and what you like, sod what's 'on trend'!

Size 14/16, here. I wear leggings with either tunics or long tops. Dorothy Perkins has some scoop necked fit and flare 'dresses' (I wouldn't wear them as dresses though) for about £16.

I would ditch the Uggs - they are not flattering, even though they are comfy. how about some ankle boots or ballet pumps?

Yes, i'm the same size and shape as you. I wear leggings and skinny jeans. Jeans with longish tops, or hip length top with boyfriend cardi, leggings with dresses or long tunics. Have to be careful with leggings in winter, as worn with boots they look like tights, so am v careful not to go too short!

lotta is right about the next high waisted skinnys, they are fab.

Size 18. Wear skinnies / leggings with Tunis tops/over knee dresses. Love my uggs & can't wait for autumn/winter to wear them. Higher styles seem to look better esp if same colour as leggings!
