Where is the best place to buy for quality and value? Thanks

assume you mean layering and have been autocorrected/typo'd, nothing to do with laying eggs Wink Grin

I've got a load from Dorothy Perkins. I'm a cheapskate. They're cheap, wash well, and retain their shape well :)

Mymumsdaughter · 30/08/2012 00:29

Yes I meant layering I brought some cheap ones and they did n't wash well so your comments are very useful I'll get myself to dotty perks Haven't been there for years! Thanks Mrs Shrek 3

they don't appear to have the very 'scoopy' ones that were there last season. Unless you'll find some on the sale rail. this appears to be the current lot.

herecomesthsun · 30/08/2012 06:16

Brora just had a clearance event and were selling scoopnecked tops for £12 reduced from £42 iirc. Prob best quality/ value, at a guess.

perplexedpirate · 30/08/2012 06:31

Ooh, I rather like that DP range. The peplum top looks like it could be quite flattering.

whyme2 · 30/08/2012 07:29

I've bought the DP tops last year and they are fab. Wash well and keep their shape. I also bought one from Asda which has lasted well.

WillSingForCake · 30/08/2012 07:33

I saw some nice ones in M&S yesterday - very thin material, so good for layering.

Not that cheap, but I have a couple of long sleeved layering tips from Splendid that ate awesome - wash and wear really well. Cheaper from shopbop than from net-a-porter etc.

BombusBombus · 30/08/2012 07:38

Watching.

cybbo · 30/08/2012 07:41

I bought a couple of good long sleeved ones from Matalan

Phaedra11 · 30/08/2012 08:51

For anyone thinking about getting the tops from the Dorothy Perkins website, DPBH15 gives 15% off but expires at the end of today.

porpentine · 30/08/2012 10:23

GAP had some in their sale.

Mymumsdaughter · 30/08/2012 22:22

Thanks all
Amber you have spoiled me with the splendid top there is one colour that looks perfect so I am now working how to justify buying it!

I have these. They have washed and worn well. Also have some from H&M, they come in a set of 2 in different colours, good for the price and again they have washed really well.
