Just How Skinny Do You Have To Be To Fit ZARA Clothes?

I saw a lovely dress in Zara, sort of 50's style. Even in a large (am a size 12) I couldn't get the damn thing past my arms, so then I though I would try from the bottom up - er no.

Completely agree. I don't even go in there anymore. It's too depressing/upsetting. Yes, I have some extra weight on me, but their sizing seems particularly tiny.

all their clothes are made for little spanish ladies with no hips.

went in there once with my dh and he asked in all seriousness if it was a children's hop. i love him sometimes.

Yes way too small. Also find Gap too small.

Why is that?

I've found zara ok in the past - I've got a skirt and trousers which fit but their tops are too short imo.
Can't do Next at all. Too large on hips or tight on waist for me.

I've got a pair of size 14 jeans from Zara that are actually too big . Although I did have to cut 6 inches off the bottom of the leg, and I'm 5' 7"...so maybe I just bought Gigantosize.

I am a 12-14 and 5 foot 11. I love their stuff as its long enough BUT I have to buy their size 16 as the 12s dont go past my knees and the 14s dont go past my thighs......

I am a size 14 and I would say their 14 is more like a 10 - 12 (small 12).

Really skinny women look crap naked I'm told....(so take heart)

when I was size 8-10 I tried their clothes - too tight & uncomfy. Now as a size 14 I know I wont fit anything & don't care :)

Oh yes the girls clothes are lovely, they don't seem to carry such a wide stock for boys. I buy a lot of things from there for my dd as they are always a little bit different. Mind you their pricing seems weird as well, from very very cheap to extremely expensive.
