I am so excited. I had an interview today for a job and i got it!!!!
I will be working 3 afternoons a week (and will be able to continue a one evening a week job i already hold).

I need work clothes though!!

The work is in a library - though a dusty in parts library and sturdy footwear is needed as some of the collection in on mezzanine type metal flooring.

I am guessing - trousers and shirts with a couple of dresses/skirts for variety but any suggestions would be gratefully received.

Will need a smart winter coat this year too... bit may wait a bit rather than going overboard just yet.

Thanks.

Well, I would go for a tea dress (try new look), a dark pencil skirt (next good but Mango have some lovely ones) who Hulu can wear with shirts and pretty tops, maybe a chiffon type top (primark has some good ones). Personally I find black trousers (unless you could wear skinny jeans?) tend to be unflattering and a bit passé now.
