Right, I had one of those realisations this morning when I caught sight of myself waddling in a full length mirror. I'm 29 single. 5'11". I think I need some kind of extreme makeover!

I look a mess and need to totally change myself but its such a daunting task. I'm massively overweight (currently a size 26 Sad ), I think losing the excess will help so that is my top priority. Going to do Cambridge diet, not ideal but its quick and I like fast results.

Skin isn't too bad but thinking of some peels etc.

I then need to sort out new clothes, hair style etc. I really want to be put together. Any tips or ideas are gratefully appreciated. Thank you.

Since you're tall, I'm sure size 26 isn't as huge as it would be on someone 6" shorter.

I did a bit of a 'revamp' at the beginning o the year, and basically:

  1. Seriously committed to the weight loss. Not 'I want to lose some weight this year' but 'I am going to be a size 10 by June' sort of commitment
  2. I gave the weight loss the same commitment I give to, say, showering or eating breakfast. I.e. non-negotiable. I fitted in exercise 6 days a week come rain or shine and only bought healthy food
  3. Menu plan - I guess this won't apply due to Cambridge diet, but maybe try to have a plan in place for when you come off it.
  4. Buy a few clothes in, say, one dress size down - enough that you'll feel motivated to get there, but not so many that you'll stop and not lose more because you've spent so much on clothes!

My Fitness Pal is a great resource, for food/exercise advice.
