I'm thinking of getting one of these. I am somewhere between a size 12 and 14 with 36F boobs. Which size should I buy? I've read that they are both generously sized and stingy! Does anyone have one?
Thanks!

I loved IO's wrap dresses when I was pregnant, but I do think it depends which style you go for. I'm a 12/14 too, and the size 3 fitted me well, even with a turtle neck underneath during winter.

However, If you choose the wrap dress, then I think a size 4 might be better, as it is much more close fitting.

The ruffle wrap dress and the tie knot dress are both pretty generous in size, and I think a size 3 would be fine.

HTH!

The ruffle wrap dress in a size 4 is at least a 16 I would say, very handy st the very end just when you think you can't get any bigger. You do.

Thanks ladies. It is "The wrap dress" what I was thinking of rather than the ruffled one. It is so awkward being between sizes. I'm not sure whether I would prefer slightly big or slightly small Confused

You could always order both just to check how they fit across the shoulders and back, and send one back??

As mosman says, it's at the end of the pregnancy where I started to grow out of many of my maternity clothes. I found the wrap dress a bit of a squeeze towards the end, and it really wasn't wrapping at all! The ruffle dress was fine, and I still had plenty of room, even with a turtleneck jumper underneath.

As long as the size 4 isn't too big across your shoulders, then I would go with that. Once it's wrapped, you really can't tell if it's too big across the chest or waist which disappears anyway

Thanks notjust I might try out the ruffle one too as it sounds like it might fit for longer. I haven't had much luck with sizing when buying clothes online in the past.

I preferred the ruffle one to be honest - always had loads of compliments when I wore it, even when I was the size of a house. Also wore it for a wedding when ds was 4 weeks old in that awkward period when nothing really fits, but this dress did!

I've got the wrap in a 4 and it was quite tight towards the end of my last pregnancy - I'm a good 14, no 12 nearby! I would probably suggest a 4 for you. If I were to buy again I'd get a 5 I think.

I have also got the tie knot dress and would massively recommend it, I found it much more flattering than the wrap and got tons of compliments on it. I'm currently pregnant and thinking I might dress it up a bit for a wedding later this year, although last time I wore it for work and for general going out.
