please help me find shoes for this dress ...

this one but blue is lighter and brighter. Am thinking a contrast colour? Can't be mail-order as needed this week so too late for online shopping ... but as you can see from my MNname have access to most shops round and about.

Oh, and if worst came to worst, could I wear some (not very noticeable) black peeptoes?

I would wear black, unless maybe in winter with opaques.

How about silver? Not shiny, maybe kind of matte. Or orange/coral if the blue is right.

I think black too - the pearls on the dress make it too busy to add another colour imo. If you want something a bit more exciting maybe navy/cream?

I'd go with nude peeptoes myself. Then again that's what I wear with everything! I don't think you can go wrong with them.

what bag, cover up and hair do are you going with?

oh my, haven't got that far yet!! The wedding ceremony and do are in a hotel and we're staying over. So not planning on a cover up. Not much flexibility with my hair so it will just be "done". Don't do hats or fascinators. Bag... mmm depends on what I decide to do re shoes. Have got black peeptoes and black/blingy sandals, am ok for bags to go with both of these. Have also got silver sandals, but no matching bag. Tomorrow is my only shopping day before wedding, so will try out everything tomorrow and see what else I need. Very last minute I know...

yup, really like those too MrsL ... wouldn't have thought of that snakeskin type pattern but think it would be very effective, esp if I wear black shoes.

got unexepected visitors, didn't make it to the shops - it will have to be what I've got already :-( but will look for one of those bags for next time I wear it.
