Are they legit? Waht's the quality and sizing like?

I've bought plenty from them, they arrived quickly within a week from china. The quality was good for the price, mine have washed well and I wear one of my dresses at least once a week. The sizing I just go by the measurements rather than the clothes size. I use them a lot as I can't afford other repro sites and I'm too fat for other sites too.

Yeah, it was you I heard of them from! It all looks great, seems like a 50s repro version of Light In The Box to me. But, I gathered there was some controversy / problem / or something of some sort from other MNers though?

It's because it's basically a rip off of Vivien of Holloway but unfortunately VOH don't cater for my size or budget so it's queen of holloway for me.

ThisTooShallPass · 26/08/2012 18:02

Ah, that's a nonsense objection. Anyone can buy those patterns!

Fears allayed, cheers stella! (again).

A bit about it here.

I can only give my view and my dresses all arrived quickly and I think the quality is comparable to any summer dress on the high street so I've not had any problems.

So, yes, for good and bad the vintage repro vesion of light in the box. It is what it is. Little different from primani IMHO.

I assume you already know lindy bop and lady vintage? Both cover your size, gets covered in standard and the plus ranges by lady v actually, they have some great dress in their plus range that they don't do in the standard range Envy.

The lindy bob 18s, 20s and 22s do tend to sell out pretty damn quickly though.

sorry, lindy bop and lady v.

I've got one of their dresses, the quality of the fabric isn't amazing but it's fine. Very well made though.
