Help! Heat rash on face - any S & B remedies?

Have just returned from hot and humid America and I've now got a face covered in tiny bumps - is this heat rash? it's not red, just vaguely itchy and skin looks like coarse emery paper :-( or is a reaction to sunblock?

Any suggestions? Aloe Vera gel maybe? I've been using an Aveeno Calamine cream I picked up from the drugstore before I left, but want something to get rid of the bumps quickly. thanks

not qualified but this sprang to mind.

See your doc tomorrow.

thanks Stevie, interesting reading. don't think that's what I have and i wont be able to see doctor till Tuesday because of bank holiday, so was just wondering if there was something I could pick up at Boots or a home remedy I could try?

I have photo sensitive dermatitis and find E45 cream calms it down pretty well when it flares up (within 24 hours if slathered on twice a day). I am currently using it on my face as have run out of moisturiser, and it's v nice on face too I find Smile. May even give up the expensive moisturisers from now on.

thanks Mrs M. have also been using DS's Balneum cream (similar to E45) for the dry bits but it makes my face sweaty if I use it all over. think I'll run to Boots and get some Aloe Vera gel and see if that does anything.

Was using the Estee Lauder BB cream while I'm abroad so now I'm wondering if that combined with the humidity and heat is the culprit Angry. will go slap free and hope the cooler weather sorts it out in a few days!
