Fine fluffy hair. Would moroccan oil help?

I have seen this raved about but would it be too heavy for my straightish (annoying kinks) hair?

Is there a particular brand you would recomend?

During the mega-heat of last week (35 plus), I used a drop or two run through damp hair as an alternative to conditioner and it stopped me from turning in to a grease bucket. I do sometimes use it, but far, far from my scalp!
