Just thought I'd share this article with you, seems like M&S are trying to copy Levi's idea!

M&S jeans

So what do you think? Am tempted to try when they launch out of curiousity...

Mum jeans for all shapes of mums

One of the comments at the bottom of the article says that the difference between pear and hourglass figures is in the top half of the body, so how can those jeans be different for each shape?

Tbh, I think that you can't tell if they are any good, until you try them. There are women who look wonderful in cheap jeans and women who don't. It's just a question of finding what's right for you as an individual - you might be lucky and find that in a £25 pair or unlucky and find it in a £150 pair.

I'm guessing that they mean that an hourglass is in proportion with their waist, an apple doesn't have much difference between the hips and waist, and a pear has the biggest difference between the hips and waist.

I'm not snobbish about jeans and agree with karma that a cheap pair of jeans could look better on someone than an expensive pair, it depends on the fit. I have tried Levi curve and they really didn't fit me well at all

And anyway I am lucky enough to be a mum and would rather wear mum jeans than teenager jeans (but please not Boden Grin)

I will try them and I am not one for mum jeans but I am an hourglass .. Don't know until you try .

I wear unbranded jeans anyway - DP, New Look etc. This sounds interesting, especially the fact they all come up to the waist. God I'm so over hoiking my jeans up every two minutes.
