How much would a salon charge to get me back to blonde?

Hair is a stripped ginge colour with very obvious blonde roots coming through and I may have to admit defeat and make a appointment. I can't get it back to a even colour!

Striping your hair properly would be expensive ...probably over £100 .

Can you get the hairdresser to add in highlights and lowlights to even up your hair colour and then gradually go blonder with highlights ?

I have already stripped it twice myself at home, its just patchy and the bloody roots are shocking.

I'm wondering if I should try dark underneath (dark would be easy, but I can't pull it off all over) and then a few highlights, or something to blend it in better, on top.

Oh . You need to be very careful with what you do to you hair now.

Can you go for some conditioning treatments before you do anything else to the colour ?
