budget?

MrsLettuce · 23/08/2012 18:20

I go as a whore, politically incorrect in a 1001 ways as it is Blush

corset or maybe you have a basque already, gypsy top under it petticoat, thick tights, boots, messy up do.

MrsLettuce · 23/08/2012 18:24

Oh, red lips, a stagger and a leer also required Wink

So shoot me

dexter73 · 23/08/2012 18:31

I would be boring and go in jeans, check shirt and cowboy hat! I hate fancy dress though.

Liveinthepresent · 23/08/2012 18:52

Thanks for replies - am torn between easy low effort options and knowing that actually its quite good fun when you really go for it- mrs lettuce your idea appeals but am feeling very unworldly as I don't own a corset or anything.

Am considerably less svelte than many of my contemporaries that will be there so maybe the busty whore is the way to go!

Ah, just go for it Grin IME it always always feels better to be the-one-who-really-made-an-effort than the-one-who-couldn't-be-arsed.

No sweat if you don't have a basque or corset, but it's time you did! Surely? You'd probably get more use out of one than a corset ('cause of the detachable suspenders ).

Liveinthepresent · 23/08/2012 19:47

Yes you are right I do need to make an effort - and am sure a basque would come in handy. am also a bit concerned you are psychic and have deduced DH could probably do with me making a bit more effort in the nudge nudge department too!

Yeah, I find a bit of underwear really helps with the old nudge nudge, feel way less self conscious and spend less time ogling me belly and hangy norks and more on the task in hand. Also has the added advantage of having and being seen to have made significant effort before the first nudge is nudged, thus meaning less effort is expected during the following nudges Wink

Mrslettuce that made me laugh Grin I will heed your advice - got to love mumsnet where you ask for one sort of advice and get all sorts of added input!
