Please help me find tall brown boots for the fall/winter!

Ok, here's what I'd like:

• just below knee length, not mid-calf
• dark brown
• smooth leather, not suede - where I live, suede would be destroyed in a few rainfalls
• max 2" heel (I'm fairly tall) but NOT flat
• block heel or solid kitten - not a skinny heel
• square or round toe box - not pointy toes (ouch)

I haven't been able to find anything that works so far so I'm throwing myself on the mercy of you lovely S&B people!

I'm fairly slim. Average calves, nice ankles. Not skinny, not fat.

Lovely DH has agreed to get me these for my birthday :) I am in the US,and Nordstroms will order them in (they carry other Frye boots). Dont know if you have Nordstroms in Canada, but im sure that there is an equivalent department store.

Perhaps not dark enough. I just bought em for this winter. Had H by Hudson last winter too and they're still going strong and a lot darker than when I started wearing them. Ankle boots those were though.

Ohhh, some of these are lovely!

I do want a heel - about 2" - so no flats. Haven't found the perfect one yet. Keep 'em coming - you ladies are wonderful!
