if you decorate a feature wall

and it's the chimney breast wall, do you normally do just the bit that sticks out or the alcoves aswell?

I would just do the chimney breast. Have a feature wall myself in the living room, unfortunatley have no fire, but have created a rectangular shape a different colour on the wall and put a feature of willow sticks inside that! looks better than it sounds!

We just did the chimney breast wall for ds and painted green and blue and covered it in dinosaurs! Sounds tacky but it looks great and he is sooo chuffed with it1
