Opinions on a dress please

Work black-tie event on Friday and I'm trying to drag myself away from my old faithful red dress that I wear to everything of this type... I'm 5'9, size 14 big boobs, good legs, bit of an apple shape inc. mum tum. Was thinking of this with nude peep-toe sling backs, pewter jewellry and pewter beaded bag:

Thoughts?

I like the dress and think it would suit your figure. Pewter bag and jewellery sound great the only thing I don't like the sound of is the nude shoes but then I just don't like nude shoes. I think navy or pewter shoes would be better.

Love it. Agree with Casmama on the nude shoes though. And I normally like nude shoes - but not with this.

I think it will really suit you from what you describe, it's a lovely dress - very classic. Loving the colour too

Yes that's a nice dress. Not sure about nude shoes though. Bare legs?

Lovely - enjoy Grin

It's lovely but I always worry with Coast that its so ubiquitous that someone else will have the same dress

MamaGeekChic · 20/08/2012 19:01

Thanks for the input! Yes, bare legs. Nude shoes- I dont have anything navy/pewter and they're new, and prada, and I'm a little bit in love with them which may be clouding my judgement...

RE the Coast thing, I've never bought naything from there before for that very reason. There's likely to be 70-80% men at this event so hoping that lowers the chances of an outfit double particularly a modelesque one

Love the dress and enjoy your shoes although I agree a darker colour shoe may work better but understand shoe love
