personalised jewellery nice or nasty?

Can't link as on phone, but thinking of the fingerprint jewellery, a wee heart with your baby's fingerprint or dog tags with your kids names... That sort of thing...

I can't decide if I like them or not...Are they a bit overdone??

Got £100 for birthday and like stuff thats different, but like the idea of personalised stuff just wondering if its too tacky etc...

Posh totty has some lovely stuff but Id have to order online from photos and just not sure about the whole thing....

Anyone any thoughts??

I quite like them, esp the bracelet with the little silver charms engraved with each child's name.

I think you should get whatever you like - someone else is always going to have different tastes, so choose according to your own opinion.

I don't like them personally but if you do go for it.

I think it depends on the jewellery. I've actually just ordered a personalised necklace from posh totty.
