I'd like something matte, even chalky, in a heathery pinkish nude-ish tone

Bobbi Brown sandwash tulle. Love it.

Looks nice thanks! How long lasting is it?

Couldn't have said it better! I wore Tulle (a bit darker) on my wedding day with Posey gloss on top. There are prob a few shades around that colour if it doesn't quite work for you.

Bobby Brown it is then. I'm off to a counter tomorrow... Thank you ladies.

Try Revlon matte Mauve it over. Seems to be the colour you are after and this product has good staying power-no feathering.

Revlon colourstay in nude is a staple for me. Stays on all day, even through eating, drinking and in the bath ! I have to use makeup remover to get it off !

I'm back.

I couldn't find the Revlon Mauve anywhere unfortunately. In the end I went for Bobby Brown Pale Pink. The colour is absolutely gorgeous but this is just a normal lipstick, nothing long lasting about it. I went to the Bobby Brown counter in Fenwick an the service was awful. I honestly don't know why I still bought from this girl when she had such a 'can't be arsed' attitude, but that's another thread.

I will keep looking for the Revlon one. Perhaps I could wear Revlon first and then a coat of BB Pale Pink on top...
