Ditching the makeup in hot weather?

I am so fed up with feeling hot and sweaty in this hot weather. The BB cream just slides off my face and I end up looking even more hot than I already am. Face looks oily all the time. I'm tempted to just not wear anything on the face and just freshen up with a wipe during the day.

I've worn foundation/powder since I was a teen.

Do you dare to bare?

I just go for a tinted moisturiser if anything. I quite like Nivea plus it has SPF. Cba with thick make up in summer.

I'm really into Lily Lolo natural mineral makeup at moment.

It's good in the heat and you can just waft a bit of powder on whenever you start to feel shiny. Its' got no chemical nasties in either and it's cruelty free. Smile

You can also order samples from their site which is handy.

Does the tinted moisturiser leave your face a bit shiny, or is it okay?

I don't bother with make up in hot weather. I wear tinted moisturiser for work and for going out, but don't bother at other times. I never wear make-up if I am just slumming around at home as I like my skin to breathe.

Actually, Bunbaker has a point. It's better not to bother with makeup in this weather if you don't need to wear it.

I never wear face make up when it's hot, my face feels over dressed, just concealer if I have to, then kohl and lip stick/gloss.

I put Clinique city block on as in addition to it having an SPF of 25, it seems to even my skin out a bit. I then do a bit of flash balm, mascara & eye liner, then lips.

I haven't worn makeup for the last two months (Ok...once when I went out for the evening). We do so much swimming in the summer and it's so very hot here in July and August that anything more than moisturizer and sunscreen just seems too much bother. I'm a SAHM though and mostly in work-out gear so it doesn't bother me much. I just try not to look in the mirror too often Grin

It was 38 here today in France. I still put foundation on before going to the market..I am an idiot.

Have never found a good tinted moisturiser I like and that copes with the heat. I do have some lily lolo with me tho so promise I will just use that the rest of the week along with soltan face moisturiser.
