Longhaul flight, business trip, what to wear ?

I'm travelling in business class which means I'll be able to get several hours lying down sleep. But that means that my hair will get messed up and face will need doing - with the limitations on liquids in hand luggage I can't take my full make up and skin care kit onto the plane with me.

I will be meeting a colleague as soon as I get off the plane, and going straight to a meeting, so I want to look reasonably smart but feel comfortable.

If BA or Virgin You will get a vanity pack with cleanser moisturiser and lip balm I usually change into the pjs they give. Moisturise then have a sleep. Before landing get changed. Use baby wipes to freshen up. Get a mini deodorant in boots airside Also you can either buy make up in duty free or decant into small pots. It will be fine. Smile

Oh and remember to hang clothes in the wardrobe so they don't get creased.

Pack the work outfit in your hand luggage plus cleansing wipes and makeup, and get changed in the loos when you get there. I can easily get all my makeup in the 1l bag as its only liquids/gels that need to go in there. Boots have loads of minis of deodorants etc, and I save mini moisturisers from their free gifts or sachets in magazines

Great suggestions. As you can tell I've been in a panic about being met straight off the plane.
Thanks!

Could you take a compact foundation? It comes with a sponge so is easy to apply & you don't need powder to set it. Maybe just wear a tinted moisturiser so it would be easy to remove then apply the compact makeup before you land. Maybe have your eyelashes & eyebrows tinted. You can use clear mascara to add shine & thickness & can slick eyebrows into shape so they look groomed. Using a moisturiser that illuminates would wake up tired skin & make you look fresh.

Also get done refresh eye drops & apply lip balm throughout the flight. Drink lots of water too to keep hydrated.

Choogirl no virgin stuff anymore Hmm there are a few bits but not the old packs
I fly alot and do the delightful into meeting thing
I take good face wipes (no7 best IMO) some moisturiser make up with me
I Travel in smart casual but then I work in an industry which doesn't wear standard business dress
On board I change into pjs and a vest top (virgin give you pjs fyr) drink loads of water and a couple of glasses of fizz then pre landing reconstruct myself!
Happy flying!
