I have been looking at all of the a/w clothes in the shops with woodland creatures on. I am 42 and really like a fox blouse in hobbs nw3 but will I look like a deranged children's presenter?

Yes, yes you will.
Either that or like one of those mad old ladies who wear wolf fleeces. Wink

dexter73 · 18/08/2012 08:45

No you will look fab! I love all the animal prints.

Bienchen · 18/08/2012 09:10

Link please? I think there is a lot of difference in the execution (abstract/cutesy/etc) and how you style these things. Also, there's a world of difference between kittens on pyjamas, zebra print tops and horses on a Hermes silk scarf...

Loveleopardprint · 18/08/2012 10:35

Can't link as on phone.
It is cream chiffon sleeveless blouse with little fox faces on. Quite subtle.

Prob just wear with dark jeans or trousers. Thought it was a nod to the style without being ott?

I cant see it in the website, but they have a lot of animal prints this season, and all look discreet enough for a grown up Smile

dexter73 · 18/08/2012 12:12

Fox top here - very nice!

mellen · 18/08/2012 12:16

Thats pretty abstract, you wont look like you should be on Cbeebies at all Smile

HeftyHeifer · 18/08/2012 12:44

I'm older than 42 and I would wear that Hobbs top. In fact I'm rather miffed as I've just done a huge small online order with Hobbs and not sure how I missed that top.

FannyFifer · 18/08/2012 12:57

Ah I see, I thought you meant more like this www.blahblahtshirts.com/images/si11/215764.jpg which was a definite no, yours is lovely. Grin

MrsCampbellBlack · 18/08/2012 13:39

I recently returned this Cat Dress. It is gorgeous. But DH thought it was more suitable for a 9 year old. I'm 46. I think he had a point.

MrsCampbellBlack · 18/08/2012 18:26

Dexter you have such a good memory! BUt it was the sweatshirt in grey and will not be worn with the leopard print skinnies Wink

stifnstav · 18/08/2012 18:35

I recently bought a dress with sausage dogs all over it from Primark. I probably look unhinged in it but I love it.

I had a fab maternity top with flamingoes on too. I am on the lookout for something with owls on.

Love the fox top. Do it.

dexter73 · 18/08/2012 18:36

I remembered it because I rather liked it!

BikeMedalsRunningMedals · 18/08/2012 20:01

I am 41 and I have the Sainsbury's bird dress. I love it, but being v cheap it is all baggy ans faded now and I have managed to tear it a little. Very sad, because it was otherwise perfect.

Loveleopardprint · 18/08/2012 20:34

Just got to get it past my twelve yr old dd who thinks everything I do or wear is a personal affront to her! Quite enjoy embarrassing her though. Revenge for the terrible two's, three's etc!!
