Lightweight skinny jeans

I look best in skinny jeans but I find that if I get hot when wearing them it just gets unbearable so I'm after a pair of them that are really lightweight denim/other light material that looks like denim. Ideally want skinny but not skintight iyswim - somewhere between straight leg and skinny perfect, in a mid blue, but denim looking - not the block coloured jeans that are trendy at the moment (moon on a stick?).

Anyone know where I could find such a thing? I'm a size 12 and a short arse. No budget but ideally under £75.

Have you tried Topshop? The Baxter ones are skinny but straight leg. They have them in different materials and leg lengths.

Gap have some great ones that are thin and proper mid blue. I'll look later and find what ones they are.

Ooh fab, can pop into both later so will have a look. Are the Baxters not similar to the Jamie jeans? I used to wear them but too heavy... will definitely have a look though.

I've never tried the Jamie ones, but last time I was in they had the Baxter ones in cotton rather than denim.

They are really low rise though, that's my only issue with them.

I'm a short arse too! I usually wear Topshop Baxters but have recently treated myself to some High Waisted skinnies from Next. They are very comfortable, not too tight, not a muffin top in sight and you can get them in Petite sizing!

therealmrsk is it just me then, or are the Baxter jeans really stupidly low rise?

They are literally on my pube line. I love the cut apart from that.

Another vote for baxters-nice and lightweight

Cherry are great, as are the Baxters. I also like the Jamie (I think?) ones from Topshop but my faves are the Leigh super skinnies. They're probably not what you want though. My vote for what you want is the Cherry ones from Oasis.

Topshop Leigh's are summer weight but they are skinny rather than straight.
