went to Sally's today intending to buy a parlux and there was a v helpful assistant who advised me that the best hairdryer in the shop was by a brand called diva. Same spec as the top parlux model for half the price. The model I got is diva veloce 3800 and it is the dogs' bollocks. They're on special offer at the moment - reduced from £48 to £40.

£40 is much more like it, I was really struggling to want to spend £80 on a hairdryer, but it's a pretty critical part of my morning...
