Elemis Marine Cream on Ebay

I am looking at Elemis Marine Cream on Ebay at what seem like very good prices but I am wondering how a seller woud have come by it. None of them gives a reason for selling unopened jars of it and it seems odd to me. I suppose the same applies to many products for sale on Ebay. Has anyone ever bought anything like this? Was it OK? Is there a chance that it isnt genuine?

It's very cheap when you buy it in the today's special value on Qvc - 4 or 5full products for about 45 quid.

I've 5 unuopened jars upstairs Grin

If only I could get QVC. I live in a part of the country with very limited channels! But it does explain where they might have got it from. Thank you

I recently sold some Elemis things that were gifts with purchase when buying other things from skincare sites. They were not full size though.

Ooh didn't know you could get Elemis at good prices on QVC. Do they advertise in advance when they are doing an Elemis promotion?

I really like their products and am a bit Angry now I realise they sell them much more cheaply on QVC!!

wanttomakeadifference they have a today's special value kit coming up on 1st September although this one will be around £80. It's still good value compared to full price for individual products but obv still a fair amount of money.
They'll do another excellent one before Christmas. Last year it was £40 including p&p and had pro collagen marine cream, pro radiance cream cleanser, monoi melt, tranquil touch bath elixir and the pro radiance handcream. I sold the pro collagen marine & cleanser on eBay which covered the cost of the kit so I got all the bits I wanted for nothing :)

Same here. QVC are online, CartoonJane

Thank you so much Jemima, I can't believe you can get it for such knock down prices. I've been well and truly ripped off by a local spa!!

Any tips for selling a couple of bits that I don't want on ebay? I would have thought a lot of ebayers would assume its a fake (like the OP).

One more question- how do you know when its coming up on QVC?!

JemimaPuddle · 16/08/2012 18:24

I'm quite an EBay novice when it comes to selling so no particular tips really. I've often sold things I've used too, only used once or twice but still!

I'm just as honest as I can be with the description, always start at 99p or 1.99, use fair postage amounts and make sure I end the auction at 8pm when most people will be home/have kids on bed!

I'm signed up so QVC email me when there is an upcoming show for the brands I like (Decleor, Elemis, alpha h & Emma Hardie). I'm also on the Facebook pages for all of them where they usually reveal what's in the TSVs in the week or so running up to it.

If you're not bothered about all the other products there are a fair amount if people who buy and resell the individual items so you can get a bargain that way.
I'm a complete skin care junkie so watch a fair bit but knowing in advance helps me decide whether I really need it as if I just watch then I fall for the patter every time!
