Glossybox damaged goods - spoiler alert

I received my August glossybox which comes with an eye shaow palette which looks like it comes out of the 70's - not only the lurid colours, but also the tatty box and what looks like a used applicator. But to make things worse, two of the shadows are damaged and have spilt over everything else in the box.

The same thing happened with the HD brows last month, black powder everywhere. I have tried to contact Glossybox for a replacement but to no avail. Anyone had any luck getting replacements or shall I just cancel?

I got a HD brows in the first box last summer and mine was broken. Glossybox sent me an e-mail saying there was a problem and if I emailed them a picture of the damage they would replace it. They sent me a new one within the week.

Not sure if their service is still so good- I unsubscribed after the awful june box.

If you can, message them throu Facebook. I did with the birthday compact that was smashed. I too have unsubscribed.

the eyeshadow is hideous - i'd be happy if mine were broken

I thought this months glossy box was the biggest pile of tat in a box I ever saw. Lipcote?! Am I twelve again? And the eyeshadow was the most disgusting thing ever. It was like the stuff you'd put on those dolls that were just a head. I also don't want glossy box own brand stuff either at ridiculous bumped up alleged prices. Joliebox is so so much better. I'm giving it one more box then giving up.

V similar, same price. I've had both for a while (I promised myself I'd cancel the one I liked least...) and joliebox has worked out much much better value with really lovely products and virtually no tat. I really was when I opened the glossybox yesterday, they must be sat in their office laughing their faces off.
