Styles for growing out a fringe

I am growing out a short fringe. My hair is really long. I have had the fringe thinned and cut so it sits to the side now. I have a newborn and I've been wearing a clip in it a lot to keep it out of the way. I can't really think of what else to do with it while it's growing out.

Any good suggestions?

TIA

Depending on how long it is, you may be able to get it into a teeny plait, so it's plaited against your head (french plait style) and then clip back or work into a longer plait/ponytail. I'm probably not explaining it very well but I do this sometimes when I'm bored of my fringe and it works quite well.

Thank you. I will try that but I'm doubtful it is long enough. I am really fed up of wearing a clip and it's not long enough even for a topknot with the rest of my hair. I have tried a few elastic head/hair bands to hold it all back but it sticks up behind the band Hmm and they ping off....
