I have 80's hair. :(

Growing out a crop.

It's a mullet. And shit looking. But I have to power through this bit to get to the good bit of lovely long hair again.

Last time it took a year to get to ponytail length, it has been 4 months this time since cutting.

I have head wraps, clips, straighteners, putty, all that gear, and I can make it look OK-ish, but it takes Effort, and has to be done EVERY DAY.

Anyone feeling the pain and want to share hand-holding (and stop me going back to the hairdresser?) Grin

I'm with you. Loads of my hair fell out when DD was about 3 months old and now, 6 months later, all the regrowth is a couple of inches long and looking like a crappy homecut fringe mullety hairstyle. It happened when I had DS a few years back, so I know I've got the 'square head' look to come, followed by the 'two tiered curtains' before I can have half-decent hair again!

That was mostly why I cropped in the first place, so much fell out when DS2 stopped BFing, then when it grew back it looked mad, so I cut it all to that length!

The only advice I can give is regular trips to the hairdresser for trims so when it is long it's healthier and also keep it a nice colour.
I too rocked a mullet but not due to pregnancy, due to me letting my persistent friend cut my hair even though she's not a hair dresser :(

Can I borrow your hair?

I'm off to an 80s Music Festival at the weekend, and mine is soooo 21st century. Grin

You can have it forever. Grin

Actually, I have been doing a sort of Bowie thing for going Out. Slightly modified. It amuses me.

Bowie with coloured streaks?? Sounds just the ticket.

Good for you, being able to "accessorize". I never got the hang of that.

Keep the bottom trimmed and eventually you will look as if you have a sort of very short bob.
