If the label says jeans will shrink when washed, how much?

I ordered some Tommy Hilfiger 1985 skinny jeans from TK Maxx. I tried them on and was a bit undecided about the fit, they fit ok on waist and bum ( was pleased that they are quite high rise so contain my mum tum ) but the legs are a little baggy for skinny jeans. Was thinking about whether to keep them when I came across this label - ' Unwashed denim. Due to the unique dry finishing process this garment will shrink when washed and colour may also transfer to other surfaces '
I haven't come across this before ( well not since the old levi adverts! ) I tend to find that jeans 'grow' when washed and go saggy. Has anyone had similar jeans, and if so did they shrink much? These are also a bit long so shrinkage would be good, but not so much I can't do them up!

I've deliberately tumble-dried jeans that stated not to on the care label. It made a slight difference, but not much. My worry about your jeans would be that they shrink in all dimensions IYSWIM.

Yes that's my worry. Sod it I'm going to wash them anyway, could always stick them on eBay if I can't do them up ( or stop eating so many crisps and biscuits....)
