Help me find some clothes that i like, have been into town today to look for some cheap casual clothes, went in a few shops but couldn't find anything i like. Most shops seem to have their winter stock out which made it even harder. I like Fat face, white stuff, Joe Browns but cant afford their prices, is there a cheaper option?

I tried:
BHS
New look
Primark
Matalan
Next

But didn't find one thing i liked Sad

Where do you all shop?

Where do you live ? Is it worth going to the fatface/white stuff outlets ?

ebay, Peacocks, Debenhams, Oasis, Gap

JoinTheDots · 12/08/2012 20:20

I like kaliko and pepperberry online but only ever buy sale stuff as it's not tomato prices!

StopEatingThatMud · 12/08/2012 20:22

I'm mid twenties but probably dress slightly older than my age and am annoyingly in between a 12 and 14.

I never manage to go into either H&M or Dorothy Perkins and leave without something. Even if I didn't intend to buy something.

I'm hardly the epitomy of style though so please feel free to ignore me!

StopEatingThatMud · 12/08/2012 20:23

I'm also not sure epitomy is even a real word....I hope that makes sense!

Oasis. Oasis. Oasis.

Sometimes Dorothy Perkins and quite a bit of French Connection this year too.

Itdidntworkout · 12/08/2012 20:27

Zara, Gap, Kew, Banana Republic, Wallis

Boden still have some bits in the sale.

Oasis is fab. Perhaps you could save for a bit and purchase a few investment pieces (trousers/ blazers) that will last years.

What is it you're after? I bet if you took out all of your clothes, you already have what you're looking for. Or, you could buy some bright scarves/ long beads to jazz up an outfit.

Thank you, am having a look at DP online sale Smile, will look at Oasis and the others. I know what i'm looking for but cant find it, i want some shorts that are not too short but not crops, a dress that i can wear a bra with and some tops that cover my belly and bottom Smile.

I like DP's sales and can usually find a fair bit online. Once I get my arse in gear and get on with osing enough weight to comfortably get back into a 12 I think I might take a look at Oasis too, thanks for the tip!

Toptack · 12/08/2012 20:48

Mantaray at Debenhams is a bit like White Stuff, currently still some things in the sale online.
