I've seen those bundle ones in John Lewis. They look really long though!!! Are they just a fad?

not a fad! used them for all five of mine, they are bloody brilliant for night time nappy changes in the early weeks! honestly i recomend them to everyone with a new baby and frequently buy them as presents.

they have been around forever, my eldest is almost 13 and we had them for him. my mum said she had similar when i was a baby.

Where do you tend to buy them from? I'm into all the Scandanvian baby clothes at the moment. Not that I could ever afford them but, these are a present.

They are so expensive though. Can you get them cheaper anywhere?

5madthings · 12/08/2012 19:13

i had some from john lewis. mothercare used to sell them in packs of two for a reasonable price.

pumkin patch did them and again good price esp in the sales.

green baby do nice ones for a gift.

there has been other threads on them recently with links, one was someone that sells cloth nappies as well.

tbh you only need three? anyway. one to wear, one in the wash and one as spare :)

honestly they are one of my top recomendations for new mums and after five children i have tried most things Grin

Well I used babygros for my 2 DDs. But I do fancy the nighties for this baby, when it arrives.

mumofjust1 · 12/08/2012 19:17

I used nighties for dd when she was a baby!

My mum got them for dd and they were brilliant - made night time nappy changes quicker and much easier :)

My nieces said boys can't wear nighties!!

nah they are babies! and you can get 'boy' designs some of the john lewis ones are navy with stars etc.

all four of my boys wore them and have survived Grin

DD usually sleeps in a vest in her sleeping bag.

Long sleeved when it's cooler and short sleeved this time of year. Much easier than sleepsuits for nappy changing and she's always seemed fine temperature wise.

Well we don't know whether this will be a boy baby. I took them some divine Swedish baby grows. They don't seem to differentiate betweenale and females there. Well, they said to me, brown and navy are for boys, grey and black is for boys, are we having a brother??? This are girls that where at the women's football last week!!! They aren't Girly at all. I love grey.
