Where is the best place to buy? DD is size 12/13, and I don't want to go to overpriced crappy Clarks.

My youngest is the same, but I've never found anything other than, eg, Startrite at John Lewis. So if anyone has a cheaper option I'll be delighted!

Ok, thanks. I don't rate the nearest John Lewis for Startrite, so will keep looking.

JL will order for you from Startrite if there are styles you want to try which they don't have in stock in their store.
There are no other makers of narrow fitting shoes- been through years and years of it :(

We always end up going to local independant shoe shop and spending £££ for dd1 - so don't think Clarks is overpriced. Shoes usually in range of £45-£55, and makes me cry. Why oh why did she have to have narrow feet???

Where abouts are you op - Norwich has a great shop called Stompers, they sell Petasil and Ricotta who made great quality shoes but only certain sales are suitable for narrow feet, they will know which one. Shoe station at Kew Station in London is also worth seeking out, they have a great range of top quality European brands and have very good staff. I have found that there is no point in going elsewhere - years of painful shoe shopping, dd has skinny feet and skinning ankles.

I'm in E Midlands.

I do think Clarks is overpriced for the quality. I don't think they are that well made. And the narrow ones are hard to come by, and not well fitting.
