navy dress, nude heels, what colours nails?

Out tonight and am wearing a navy dress with gold belt.

Nudey/pinky colour shoes with gold jewellery.

Not sure what colour nails to go for.

I usually go for bright colours and don't like clear or French manicure

What would you go for?

Clear. Or colour to match shoes.

Colour to match shoes? Is it the 80s?

I always go for red.

Navy or hot pink / orange

I would go with a deep red/claret.

I was going towards hot pink but not sure as shoes are open toe.

Coral

I'd have a clear red or Rouge Noir.

Light gold

Red a bit tarty IMO

Who cares if it's tarty- life's too short to have dull nails!

Have fun with it. I love hot pink with navy.

It's between navy and hot pink.

Red didn't look right with the open toe.

I've also tried a raspberry pink ans that looks nice too.

How about I just paint a nail each colour?

Red is most definitely not 'tarty'. Short nails with perfectly painted glossy red nails is tres stylish.

Unless you're thinking of Bet Lynch, with the long red talons that's not a good look.

I would definitely go for taupey colour. I have a nice one by Essie called Jazz but there are lots around.

I find taupe colours very hard to wear, they make my hands look grubby. It's a shame because I love most of the colours when they're in the bottle.

Taupe doesn't look right with the shoes. They are an apricot colour.

I have navy, red raspberry and hot pink toe nails atm .

Dc are saying navy. I'm liking the raspberry.

I do have a patchy tan and long dark hair if that makes any difference.

Still think Navy
