... a plain denim pinafore dress for 0-3 months.

No (or very very little) stupid embroidery or poncey bits.

(thinking baout it, Gap probably have some)

You don't want little pink and lilac patches with flowers on them and stitching and teddies and fairies and sequins and glitter then? Aww, why not?

Wink

I saw this when I was looking for a present for a friend, its quite plain.

Smurfgirl, I'm so dense! Only this morning I bought her the jeans/top combo that matches that outfit (and a pair of purple tights that prompted the search for a plain pinafore). I also think it's similar to (or even the same as) the one my DB & SIL bought her in a larger size!!

sd hennes have them! cheaper than debenhams too.

vickiyumyum · 09/03/2006 19:10

boots have them, they are osh kosh ones and have 25% off at the moment!

cod · 09/03/2006 19:10

soupy yo may as well admit defeat on your anti pink crusade

SoupDragon · 09/03/2006 20:14

Hennes had no plain ones in 0-3 months, Starlover (but loads with gold peacock embroidery, pink flower overload or ribbon madness)

No, cod, I don't need to admit defeat. There are actually lots of non poink clothes if you care to search them out. She was wereing a rather fetching duck egg blue/green top and denin jeans today. A little pink braid round the hem of the top and and the logo but it was subtle. Not like the god awful pink hell that is Next.

Never think to try Boots BTW.

gap usually have them....I have two from there which are as plain as can be.
bet now I've said this there won't be one to be had

starlover · 09/03/2006 20:16

i'll have a peek in ours for you if you want SD? they definitely had plain ones and they were quite little... i had a look for non-pink stuff for JARM a couple of weeks ago!

georginarf · 09/03/2006 20:17

I've got to dress DD in one with pink flowery crap on it this weekend to appease MIL as she bought it for her and they're coming down - there's only so long you can say "it's still too big". It'll hurt me, but it has to be done. THink she will wear it at meal time so it's trashed and she doesn't need to leave the house in it Grin

SoupDragon · 09/03/2006 20:17

That's Ok Starlover, I'll check back next week as they tend to restock fairly regularly. Although I may take you up on that if I have no luck :)

georginarf, you should see the bubblegum pink top and trousers my MIL sent. Luckily they live abroad...

SD, if you want lovely girl's clothes that aren't pink, look at \link{http://www.dpam.com\this} site. For example, they have \link{http://www.dpam.com/Catalog/Reference.aspx?ReferenceId=5401&ColorId=4948\this}.

tamum · 09/03/2006 20:21

Gap always used to do them, it seemed to be one of the few lines that never changed. Dd had a whole series of them (just about the only plain blue things she did have, mind Wink)

WestCountryLass · 09/03/2006 21:07

My DD had a plain denim pinafore from Asda when she was a baby, not sure if they have them in now but might be worth a look?

vickiyumyum · 10/03/2006 14:30

sd - boots do have very plain denim pinafores from osh kosh, and they have reduced them even more they are now half price! i was tempted to buy one today, but you can guarantee if i do the scans will be wrong and it will be a boy!
