I have the babyliss curling wand - good but curls are too small
I have the BBH but it doesn't curl.

I'm thinking I need some tongs with a large barrel - can anyone recommend any? Don't say use rollers cos I cba.

I bought this one about three or four years ago and it's good. Fast heat up, reliable. £16, not a big investment either.

Having said that, I did buy it a while back - there may be bigger-barrelled ones available now, it is worth having a browse on there, checking the diameters, and contemplating the reviews.

Bugger, sorry about the link, this might work?

I got these and they are very good. I like the way the Boots site gives reviews from people who have purchased, although it does make me slightly more indecisive sometimes!

Not at all TeamEdward! I use Aussie's Take the Heat 3 minute conditioner and Moroccan oil, together - makes my fluffy hair all swishy!

Like the look of the Babyliss ones Claudia, I'll go for those if no more recs are forthcoming! The Mark Hill wand looks good but prefer the 38mm barrel of the Babyliss. Plus I have a wand already.

I have the Babyliss one too, I really recommend it, it heats up nice and quickly and gives lovely big curls.

TeamEdward I curl my hair constantly and use a hair oil on my hair when its wet, then John Freida as I'm curling it. My hair's still in pretty good condition so it must do a good job!

Try Karmin Products Line! I have been using the Karmin clipless curling wand for about a year now and love it. It such a versatile tool! I can use it to curl, wave or just simply add volume to my hair. I am most impressed with how long my curls stay in as I have really thick, stubborn hair but they last all day with just a touch of flexible hold hairspray after using this curling wand.
